| Wow, it's been a while. Work is going well. I'm up in Denver. I'll be here until the start of October. Then I'm headed to Longview, TX for a while. I'm excited thought, because I'll only be 2 hours from Dallas! Woohoo! So, prepare my DFW friends, I will be visiting! I'm loving it up here in Colorado. It's a dream come true. Lodging has been interesting. I was in an el crapo extended stay for 2 months...so tiny it should have been in europe. Then I got to stay in a furnished condo for 2 months. That was fun. So spacious! It kinda made everything smell like curry for a while...it was all in the HVAC system. Now I'm back in a different extended stay. It's more like a cool dorm room. At least I have a couch now! I'm kinda sad I have to leave in a couple of months, but I'm so thankful for the time I've had here. To be able to go on vacation just about every weekend is unreal. I almost went camping this weekend, but I decided to go shopping instead...hehe. What did I buy? All kinds of stuff, but most importantly, and brand spankin' new laptop! It was on sale, $150 off. Wooohooo! HP Pavilion tx 2000
12.1", 3 GB Memory, Dual Core 2 GHz Processor, 250 GB Hard Drive, Tablet, 4.6 lbs, oh yea. Well, it's time to have church, so have a good one. Peace be the Journey... | | |
| Well, this is my last week in Chickasha playing with goo. Yes, goo. The goo is complicated, especially when the water is crazy. It's been fun though. There's a lot that goes into fluid design. So many variables! I'm headed to Denver this weekend to learn frac design. It will be challenging, but that's why I'll like it.
Peace be the Journey...

| Well, tomorrow is the first day of the rest of my life. I'm fortunate enough to have a good job (District Engineer in Training), so I'm gunna work my tooshie off. I just bought a new Honda Element, sort of. All the paperwork is done, but they had to go find it. I'll have to find something green to wear.(a) Frac Tech's colors are green and yellow (b) St. Patrick's Day! I'm excited about getting started. I'll have plenty to do, so it should be pretty fun. I'll be in Chickasha for a month, Denver for a month, and probably West Texas for a while. I hope they let me stay in Denver longer! That would be frigging sweet! Hopefully I can work a few camping trips in on the weekends. Man, I've gotta change my voice mail and my signature on my email. I'm a grown up! Ahhhhhhh! Since I'm a grown up, I guess I better clean my room...hehe. Well, keep it real kiddos.
Peace be the Journey...

| Well, Frac Tech decided to take me back once the managerial drama dust cloud had settled. So, I'm happy. I'm looking forward to getting started. I get to learn all about frac'ing fluids, chemistry, and frac design. Good think I love to learn! I'm still chillin' with the parents, but I'll be commuting to Chickasha for a month. Then I'm off to Denver for a month (hopefully longer!), and then I'm mostly likely gunna get shipped off to West Texas again. So, off I go on another whirlwind adventure. I took a trip up to Stilly for Bible study and to turn some 5 keys in. It was good to see everyone. Stillwater will always feel like a second home. It was really nice to be back there without any responsibility of homework or projects hanging over my head. I'm not gunna lie. These 2 months without homework have rocked my world. I'm about to buy a vehicle, and I'm trying to decide which one. I've looked at:
The Jeep Patriot
The Subaru Forester
The Honda CR-V

The Honda Element

I'm kinda leaning toward the Element because of these features...

So, I dunno. The kid in me wants the Element, but the adult in me wants the CR-V. I still have to go test drive both of the them on the highway, so we shall see. The first two I ruled out. The patriot was too cramped and slow, and the Forester was a little cramped with a loosy goosy steering wheel.
Well, I better bust a move to the post office to mail my employment agreement.
Peace be the Journey...
